Laugh It Out Hub

Our mission is to use humor through the form of standup comedy writing and improvisation to empower at-risk teenagers.

As of 2019, 15% of teenagers self-reported as struggling with depression and anxiety anxieties. This is even more serious among teenagers who come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Studies show teenagers with a well-developed sense of humor are more optimistic, have higher self-esteem, and handle conflicts better.

As a non-profit platform, Laugh It Out Hub aims to bridge the gap among at-risk students, donors, comedy educators. We work to build comedy writing and performing education, we help teenagers laugh out and vent out their struggles and rise above their depression and anxieties.
